Christmas is Coming!

Shopping is so fun with two wild, I mean excited, kids! Don't they look sweet and innocent!

Here's What We Want Santa!

We were at Best Buy on Saturday and the kids fell in love with Guitar Hero! They entertained the shoppers and had so much fun! We hope Santa will come through! 

Finally a Quad!

We finally decided to give in and get the kids a quad of their own. It is a little big for Roman and he'll have to grow into it, but Avery absolutely loves it.  Mike rode with her for a while until she felt comfortable. She spent the rest of the day going (way too fast) around and around her grandma and grandpa's backyard. 

        

Roman was happy doing tricks on the big wheel and posing for pictures! I love the last picture here! 

Presents and Painting

On Saturday Avery went to a friend's birthday party! They painted pottery and danced to Hannah Montana songs! Avery made a very colorful unicorn. We can't wait to bring it home!

Drive In

We packed up our pillows and blankets and headed for the local drive in! We saw Madagascar 2. The kids loved it and we actually enjoyed ourselves too! It was a cold night, but a fun one too! Avery and Roman entertained the crowd with their silliness before the show began! Going to the drive in always reminds us of when we were kids so we like to pass that memory on to our kids!

Ice Skating is Fun!

On Thursday afterschool we went ice skating with some friends. It was strange getting the kids all bundled up when it was 80 degrees outside, but we needed to as it was very cold inside the Iceoplex! It was the kids first time and they really did well. Roman stuck to the "walker"and that really helped! He looked hilarious, like a granny! Avery ventured out on her own and finally got the hang of it after many, many falls! She also enjoyed eating the ice! Somethings never change! We had such a great time and can't wait to go back again soon!

Halloween 2008

Halloween was loads of fun! Surprisingly, we made it around to about 30 houses and one haunted house! Super girl Avery flew from house to house and Incredible Hulk Roman growled at everyone along the way. It was hilarious! As the pictures show, they were definitely worn out by the end of the night. On the way home Mike had to carry Roman up our hill!
