Today I got some "extra" help with changing the sheets on my bed! Yes, Avery and Roman decided to hide in the sheets when I went to answer the phone! Surprise Mommy! I really think that they should have been extra nice to me today! After all, I took them to see Space Chimps which, by the way, had a C- rating ! Let's just say that it won't be winning any Academy awards!! But, all that said, I do love the lazy days of Summer!!
Note- Notice Avery's Camp Rock shirt! Oh, I really hate that shirt. Now, I'm wondering why I ever let her buy it! She wears it A LOT because she loves the Jonas Brothers and to make me mad! Just kidding!
On Saturday we cleaned out the garage! Fun, right? Well, that afternoon we decide to go hiking at Torrey Pines Trails. We like to go there because you can hike down the mountain right to the beach. The kids had so much fun!! Mike even brought his hiking stick that I swore he'd never use!! We made it down to the beach just in time to see the sunset! What a nice way to spend a Saturday evening in San Diego!! We forget how lucky we are!!!
For the past few night we've been trying to include Beatrice in our beloved evening ritual- TV ! Yes, I envisioned our cute little puppy curled up on her new bed looking simply adorable as we watched TV or DVD's. Well, I'm still hoping for that!! But for now we take turns sitting with her and keeping her under control! Roman does it the best and he doesn't mind the doggie breath! He really loves this dog!
